The Role

The one who:

  • Develops and delivers thought leadership content and digital strategy vision aligned with SoftServe’s strategy and functional practices
  • Actively promotes SoftServe’s capabilities, services, and successes in digital product and solution development
  • Plays a pivotal role in procuring new business by collaborating with business development team members and strategic partners to identify complex customer solutions from, often ambiguous, customer requirements
  • Strives to become a trusted advisor with clients and provides continuity into engagements by acting as the solution consultant, digital strategist, enterprise consultant, or enterprise solution manager as the engagement requires
  • Understands manufacturing and supply chain industries
  • Ensures the client’s vision is brought to life in the form of a solution that is delivered on time and on budget and exceeds customer expectations.
  • Enterprise Solutions Consultant’s command of business strategy, digital strategy, product strategy, SDLC, and key & emerging technologies helps our clients achieve industry leadership positions, driving their revenues and profits and increasing the strategic value and stickiness with our clients.

YOU WANT TO WORK WITH

  • Participate in multidiscipline sales teams providing technical subject matter expertise at a consultant/advisor level.
  • Understand and represent the capabilities of the various Centers of Excellence and know where to turn for unique technical challenges.
  • Professional and authoritative presence in client settings.
  • As comfortable and conversant in business conversations as in technical conversations.
  • Manage, lead, and coordinate project and technical teams of diverse resources comprised of SoftServe, client, and partner members.
  • Aid in the research and development of new services, products, and markets for SoftServe.
  • Contribute and ideate in large, ambiguous enterprise technical presales projects.
  • Perpetually curious with new and emerging technologies and able to quickly recognize business opportunities for them.
  • Meet with, cooperate with, and coordinate prospective and existing clients to gain an understanding of their business strategy, objectives, transformation initiatives in progress, business requirements, and technology infrastructure; propose technology solutions aligned with their strategy.
  • Identify and propose technology solutions not already envisioned by clients.
  • Identify and propose business process improvements.
  • Define and document the business cases for proposed solutions.
  • Define and own the vision and scope of proposed solutions, including sign off from all stakeholders.
  • Foster trust with key client management and stakeholders in order to gain advisory status and ultimately buy-in and approval for recommendations.
  • Act as the customer’s advocate to drive the solution vision with product owners and managers to ensure the deliverables are aligned with client expectations.
  • Excellent business acumen to understand formal and informal organizational structures, assess risk, understand and contribute to strategy formulation, structure KPI’s and OKM’s, and identify ways to improve business processes and operations.

Qualifications

Specialised Knowledge:

  • Good understanding of IT Consulting and software development terms and concepts;
  • Good understanding of Business (how to make the client successful

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong Communication skills;
  • Good organisational skills;

Professional certification:

  • Client Centric (Client Advocate);
  • Flexible, creative;
  • Relationship oriented;
  • Education and degree: Bachelors in Information Technology (or related).
